Browser reading capture
Turn unknown words into vocabulary training.
Select a word or phrase while reading. LingFitPro explains it in the sentence, saves the context, and adds it to your training loop.
Built for serious learners who read real articles, not word lists.
La ciudad avanzo con el nuevo plan; sin embargo, muchos vecinos pidieron mas tiempo para adaptarse.
sin embargoTranslation is fast. Remembering is the hard part.
You highlight a word, translate it, keep reading, and meet the same word again next week. The meaning was clear for a moment, but it never became part of your active vocabulary.
- Word lists lose the original sentence.
- Translation history is not a training plan.
- Flashcards take extra setup.
- Importing every article into a reader interrupts the habit.
Reading-to-training loop
From article to workout in four steps.
Capture only what you select. LingFitPro keeps the useful sentence, not the whole page.
- Select a word or phrase.
- Get a context-aware explanation.
- Save it with the original sentence.
- Train it in LingFitPro.
Not another translator popup.
LingFitPro is designed for the moment after lookup: keeping the context and turning it into practice.
Keep the sentence. Learn the usage.
A word can change meaning by sentence, region, register, and tone. LingFitPro explains the selected phrase in the context where you found it, then keeps that example attached for later review.
- Sentence-aware explanations
- Source domain and article title after save
- Track-aware language settings
- Explanation language options for app UI, browser, or page language
Your saved words do not sit in a graveyard.
Add a captured phrase to your LingFitPro vocabulary list and train it later with the context still attached. The goal is not to collect words. The goal is to remember and use them.
Build your reading training queueFast when you want it. Quiet when you do not.
Use the keyboard shortcut for quick explain, open the overlay from selected text, or enable reading mode when you are working through a foreign-language article intensively.
How the beta works
The first beta is for Chromium-based browsers. Join from LingFitPro, connect the extension session, and use the overlay or keyboard shortcut while reading.
Designed for selected text, not full-page scraping.
LingFitPro Capture sends the selected word or phrase and a bounded nearby sentence so the explanation can be accurate. It does not save the full article by default.
- Only selected text and nearby context are sent for the explanation.
- Connected extension sessions can be revoked from your profile.
- The full page is not saved by default.
Browser reading capture FAQ
Is this a translator?
No. Translation can be part of the explanation, but the goal is training. LingFitPro saves the phrase with its sentence so you can review and practice it later.
How is this different from Readlang or LingQ?
Those tools are strong reading systems. LingFitPro focuses on a lighter browser moment: explain the phrase where you found it, save the context, and connect it to your LingFitPro vocabulary training.
How is this different from DeepL or Google Translate?
DeepL and Google Translate are excellent translation utilities. LingFitPro is built for learners who want the lookup to become remembered vocabulary.
What text does the extension send?
It sends the selected word or phrase and a short nearby sentence for context. It does not save the full article by default.
